After School and Before School Enrichment Clubs

We offer a range of enrichment clubs for all children attending Bow Primary School. These include activities such as Mini Maker, Musical Theatre, Lego Club and Games Club and Life Skills Club.

We also offer an Early Bird Enrichment Club from 8:00am each morning.

The clubs run every day after school until 5:00pm and are led by members of our school staff.

We look forward to welcoming many of your children to take part in these exciting opportunities.

Tax-Free Childcare for Enrichment Clubs

We are delighted to let you know that we are now registered to accept Tax-Free Childcare payments for all of our enrichment clubs.

If you are eligible for the Government's Tax-Free Childcare scheme, you can now use your account to pay for your child's enrichment club bookings.

We pride ourselves on the varied, educational and memorable trips, residential and enrichment activities that we provide for the children in addition to the core curriculum that we provide for the pupils.  We believe that these experiences have a very important role to play in our children’s education and will encourage greater progress and engagement in our daily activity.

We aim to put on one trip or enrichment activity per term for each student, ensuring that the experiences tie in as directly to what the students are studying that term as possible whilst offering plenty of fun! Children in Year 6 participate in a two-night residential, in addition to their termly activities and day trips.  We like to ensure that the trips open up new opportunities to the children to try something that they haven’t necessarily experienced before.

Our trips programme is diverse and has seen classes visit local museums, theme parks, beaches, theatres and National Trust locations in recent years.  The Year 6 residential is taken with PGL Barton Hall in June as a culmination of their school experiences.

As well as trips and residentials, we also organise enrichment experiences on-site. These could be based around sport, drama, music or a specific subject-focused or treat activity.

We work very hard to ensure that the trips, programmes and events we put on represent exceptional value and are at the best possible cost for parents and families. The financial support we receive from the Friends of Bow School enables us to pay partially for these events and make the overall costs substantially lower than the actual activity costs.  Particularly expensive trips, such as a residential, are costed well in advance and payment plans put in place for families to help with budgeting.
