We are delighted to welcome Kipper the dog, who is a registered ‘Pets and Therapy’, and his owner Helen to Bow Community Primary School.
As well as benefitting educationally and emotionally, our children increase their understanding of responsibility and develop empathy and nurturing skills through contact with Kipper.
We have developed a risk assessment that outlines how we will care for and manage Kipper on site and his activities in school.
Please ensure that any dog allergies are reported to the office via school email at admin@bowcps.devon.sch.uk ,together with medical evidence to support this. If your child has a fear of dogs, please could you also let the school office know via email at admin@boecps.devon.sch.uk
